Denis Kinyera is an education and development professional with 12 years of experience in development and livelihoods programming, with expertise in teacher development, education leadership and systems strengthening.

About Me

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies with Education from Kyambogo University and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies at Uganda Christian University.

Throughout his career, Denis has worked with Te-Kworo Foundation, Educate! as a Program Officer, Teach For Uganda as a Leadership Development Officer, and STiR Education as a Program Lead. These roles have provided him with extensive experience in classroom practice, leadership development, teacher support and programme implementation.

Denis is passionate about teacher education, coaching and mentorship, particularly supporting teachers and education leaders to build confidence, ownership and agency. His work focuses on strengthening education systems through effective programme implementation, collaborative learning and continuous professional development, with a strong interest in translating evidence and ideas into practical improvements in teaching and learning.
